Sail Amsterdam 2015

At the end of August Amsterdam hosted Sail Amsterdam. An event during which tall ships dock at the Ijhaven pier for landlubbers to admire the majestic masts and sails. Among them were the Alexander von Humboldt with its green sails and Mir - one of the biggest tall ships.
This time three Polish ships joined the event, but I captured only one of them. However, this was the one to which I have the biggest personal attachment - despite never setting my foot on it - Pogoria. Check them all out!

Cambridge

Finally some time to go through my pictures! I've taken quite a number of them recently and it's time to share :-) As a start a few shots from Cambridge. I visited there good friends at the beginning of August - a lovely time!

Pluto Time

Pluto Time is time of the day when the amount of light reaching your location on Earth is the same as the amount of light reaching Pluto at noon. People all over the world have been recently taking pictures of Pluto Time at their location and here is my contribution to this event. All of that has been of course triggered by NASA sending its spacecraft to photograph Pluto and if you want to learn more (and find out when is your Pluto Time), here is the link: http://solarsystem.nasa.gov/plutotime/

København

Last weekend I went to visit my friends in Kopenhagen. We haven't seen each other in a while and we had a lot of catching up. We filled the days with lively discussion (we didn't always agree, which made it all the more interesting), long walks and runs around the apartment, laughter and dirty jokes, delicious food and all the joys that being around people you love and care about brings. So, thank you my dear hosts - Sylwia, Piotrek and Hania - I will be coming back! For the rest of you - shots of the Danish capitol.
